Services - Extraction

Tooth extraction is the removal of a tooth from its socket in the bone. This procedure is typically performed when a tooth is damaged beyond repair, severely decayed, infected, or causing other dental issues such as crowding or impaction. While it’s generally considered a last resort after other treatment options (like fillings or root canals) have been exhausted, extractions are sometimes necessary to preserve the health of the surrounding teeth and gums. Extractions can be simple (for teeth that are visible and easy to remove) or surgical (for impacted teeth that may be below the gumline, such as wisdom teeth). Following extraction, it's important to follow post-operative care instructions to avoid complications like infection or dry socket, and to promote proper healing.
